Pasticcio: Dinner with Handel
The premiere of a specially commissioned, simply-staged pasticcio by librettist Stephen Pettitt and Music Director, Julian Perkins. It imagines Handel lavishly entertaining a group of friends, colleagues and rivals. The spread is provided by his personal chef and renowned bass singer, Gustavus Waltz. With four singers and the Sounds Baroque orchestra.
