Join us for a unique concert of music from the baroque era. Soprano Angela Hicks is joined by the phenomenal talents of David Wright (harpsichord), Jonatan Bougt (Theorbo), and Harry Bucoke (Viola da Gamba), all masters of their historical instruments, in the beautiful setting of St Laurence's Church, Chorley.

The programme centres around Monteverdi’s Lettera Amorosa, and will also include works by Lanier, Couperin and Strozzi.

We are joined on this occasion by members of the Chorley Guild Singers, who will perform Monteverdi’s heartbreaking Lamento della ninfa.

Wine will be available before the concert begins.
