Inspired by the term 'silvery', often used to describe their clear, high voices, Silver Baroque is an atmospheric programme of 17th and 18th century music on the theme of night. Interspersed with readings and instrumental music, Penelope and Angela explore a range of nocturnal themes in a variety of styles and languages, spanning opera, oratorio, sacred works, theatre and song.
